Components of marketing information systems every orgn.needs information to take timely and correctly decision so most orgn. maintain their own marketing information systems ,but same orgn. do not maintain their own marketing information systems ,they but the require information from outside agency ,now marketing information systems is composed of 4 components ,they are internal record systems,marketing intelligences systems,marketing research systems ,decision support systems,they are enterrelleted .the ist systems that is internal record systems are mainly concern with the collection of data.the information collected by these and systems is analyised and stored the in decision support systems.

*Internal record systems:-It provide result data ,in this systems data is collected from internal record maintain within the orgn. Internal record are easily available sources.
of internal records that are generally used by marketing information systems are as follows:-

*Costomers order complaints :-The recors of costomers orders provides the infotmation on the customer demand for the product ,the record of customer complain provide the information on problem and their possible solution regarding the quality ,packaging and distribution of the product.
*Invoices :-Invoices contain the valuable information about the customers, name location ,sales,quantity etc.
*Sales report:-Sales reports provide the information about sales train,total sales, actual sales,in each segment and sales of each product items.
*Other record:-Other record such as financial statements auditor reports ,inventory level.records etc. are also impo. sources of information .

=MARKETING INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS :-Marketing intelligences systems provides information about every day happenings in the markets places and environments that means it provides the information about how thing are going on in market places and environment such information is help to for preparing and modifying the marketing programmers the information regarding environmental changes is on train from the following sources:-

*Publication:-Now newspaper ,magazine ,trade ,journal reports of the trade association are the valuable sources of information about the marketing environment marketing manager can obtain the require the external marketing information by reading such publication.
