IMPORTANCE OF DISTRIBUTION
*DELIVERS SATISFACTION:- Distribution delivers satisfaction to the consumers by providing the product that satisfy their needs and wants,distribution is the only one means by which the product are delivers to the consumers so without distribution systems the consumer can not get the products that satisfy their needs.
*VALUE ADDITION PRODUCT:- distribution adds value to the product by creating place utility and time utility in the product,transportation creates place utility by carrying the porduct from the place of origin to the place of uses,warehousing creates time utility by holding the product until they are demanded in the market.
*MEANS OF PRODUCTION:- Distribution providers the require production input such as raw materials parts ,machinery , equipment and other suppliers to the manufactures for the production of new products so without distribution systems production is not possible.
*COMMUNICATION LINK:- Distribution provides communication link between the producers and consumers or users,the producer can provide the require information to the consumers /users through channel members the producer can also get the feedback information from the consumer /users through channel members.
*EMPLOYMENT :-Distribution provides employment opportunity to the people,at present the large no.of people are directly or indirectly engaged in various distribution activities such as transportation ,warehousing ,wholesaling,retailing,etc.
*PROMOTION OF PRODUCT:- Distribution has promotion imp. also. the manufactures product are promoted by the wholes seller and retailer also .
*BULK BREAKING:- The intermediaries break the bulk into small units and supply them in convinent sizes to the users.
